Drivers Education Course

This program provides the student with 36 hours of class, all class materials and 6 hours In-car session.

Program Overview

The Drivers Education course is 36 hours total: 30 classroom hours and 6 hours In-car session.

Classroom hours are two weeks long, Monday-Friday. Special hours may be scheduled around holidays or in the event of inclement weather.
Those without a Learner’s Permit can take the classroom portion without it.
The first day of class is mandatory. If a student misses the first day of classes, they will not be able to attend classes in that particular session. Any other classes may be made up if missed but the number of missed days cannot exceed 4. Successful completion of the course is a Maryland state requirement.
Students have a 15 minute grace period when running late for class.
